About Me

Hello! My name is Rachel Marquardt, and I created Happy Keys Piano Lessons! I began taking piano lessons at the age of 3, and graduated from all levels in high school. I founded Happy Keys shortly after!

I am located in Rocklin.

My Musical Background

about happy keys

Happy Keys was born when I first started teaching piano in high school. My mom worked with children on the Autism spectrum and we realized that there was a significant gap in our community for piano teachers who specialized in supporting children with special needs. That was when I realized that each student truly is unique and special, and not all learning styles fit every student. This is what makes Happy Keys special, and this teaching style has been tested and true for many Happy Keys alumni and parents.

"Piano is one of my biggest passions, and it excites me to share that passion with kids. I don't see teaching as a routine or a role, but an opportunity to help my students find their passion for music in piano. If there's a song they want to learn, I'll find it. I'm determined to not just help them learn, but make their piano adventure a fun and happy one."
