Getting Started
We're so excited your child would like to start learning piano! If your family has taken an interest in Happy Keys Piano Lessons, we would first start with a phone consultation to talk about your student's needs, interests, and schedule. Followed by this will be a free first session where I get to meet you, your student, and set your child up for a successful learning experience.

Frequency and Duration
Our classes often take place once per week for half-hour or hour-long sessions. Lessons take place at the teacher's home where there is a full 88-key stand-up piano with soft-touch keys and comfy cushions for the student's comfort. Further accommodations can be discussed during the consultation call.
Progress and Growth
We encourage internal and external motivation for students to practice their lessons! Our students all have customized sticker charts where they will earn stickers as they progress through their lesson books. Complete a chart, and the student will be able to select from our prize box!
Happy keys also helps students to be motivated through piano away from the keys. We provide fun games to help students memorize keys and up-on-your-feet activities to activate memory retention rather than standard on-paper quizzes.
